COUNCIL VOTES TO INCREASE WATER BILLS BY 74%

I voted against Council’s proposed water rate hike. Our water system needs work, but 74% in four years is too much, too fast for families already facing a potential MASSIVE property tax increase. It passed 9-6. I’ll keep pushing for affordability in November.
